This music video was made in Dadaab refugee camp by the talented refugee community and the FilmAid crew in honor of the International Day of Peace, September 21st every year.
Dear Mr. Peace brings together the vibrant voices of refugees living in Dadaab refugee camp, in a call-out to action for Peace One Day. Peace One Day is a day for individuals to become part of a global commitment toward community action and life-saving activities.
The music video was made in a record seven days, right from song composition to the final cut, bringing together the hard work and passionate efforts of Dadaab refugees and the FilmAid team.
The talented team includes music artists Dan and John from Burundi, Black Keys from Ethiopia, Black from Somalia and other enthusiastic helpers from the refugee community.
